Moorlands is a delightful two hundred and fifty year old Grade II listed spacious family holiday home that provides bright and sunny holiday accommodation for parties of up to nine guests + cot (ideal for family groups).

This lovely cottage is set high in the peaceful little hamlet of Blades and surrounded by open moorland which is grazed by cattle and Swaledale sheep. It offers magnificent views and is just a short walk from the village of Low Row with its famous Punch Bowl Inn - a 17th Century inn serving exceptional food and excellent ales in a stylish and relaxing setting.

Low Row is just four miles up dale from the picturesque historic village of Reeth which has a history dating back to Saxon times and is noted in the Doomsday Book. With its Friday market, shops, hotels, pubs, post office, garage, organic bakery and pretty village green, it is one of the Dales 'honeypots' which attracts many visitors.

Larger shops can be found in Leyburn, Richmond and Barnard Castle, all within about a half hour's drive from the cottage.

The Coast to Coast long distance walk passes close to the village of Low Row for the keen walkers amongst you and for the less adventurous, there are many walks to enjoy in the area, from a gentle stroll to something more challenging.

Moorlands is full of lovely original features, including a farmhouse kitchen, beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard, and it is obvious that this second home is very much loved by its owners. Not only does its warm, welcoming atmospshere provide the ideal place to relax but it is also a delight to return home to after an exciting day exploring the local attractions and surrounding hills.

Please note that the cottage is not available for short breaks and the cottage is not available between early November and the end of March.
