West Close Farmhouse is home to two comfortable holiday cottages, converted from barns, to provide accommodation for four guests or eight if both are rented together. By arrangement, guests also have the free use of the Granary Dining Room when rented together for large group bookings, allowing the whole party to dine together. Each cottage has its own unique style and been awarded Three Stars.
Sitting in the heart of Coverdale within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the two bedroom cottages are cosy country retreats, set in the grounds of West Close Farmhouse. They enjoying spectacular views over Coverdale and the North York Moors beyond. Each cottage has its own conservatory and patio with barbecue area, allowing guests to enjoy the wonderful views and stunning scenery at any time of the year from both inside and out.
Within easy driving distance of the market town of Leyburn; Middleham, with its horse racing connections and historic castle; and Masham with its very own breweries, there are plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area.
Within the locality: There are plenty of local walks and easy access to the Yorkshire Dales walking network with miles of wonderful walks; Cycling on the Yorkshire Dales Cycleway; Pubs – The nearest is less than a mile away at Carlton (community pub) and there are pubs at Middleham (four miles) and West Witton (two and a half miles); Leyburn and Middleham are four miles and offer a good selection of interesting shops. The cottages are within easy access to York, Ripon, Harrogate and Durham.

Field Cottage sleeps four guests (plus cot) and is a single-storey stone converted barn that provides split-level holiday accommodation with uninterrupted views over Coverdale, lower Wensleydale and beyond to the Vale of York.

Additional information: Duvets and pillows are provided with linen and towels. Gas central heating and electricity included in the price. The cottage is on a spring water supply. Cot and high chair available on request. Strictly non-smoking. Dogs welcome (maximum two per cottage). There is a storage area for bicycles.
