Fellside Cottage is located in Appletreewick which is a one of Yorkshire Dales’ most picturesque villages. It is perfectly situated between the pretty Wharfedale village of Grassington and the vibrant market town of Skipton (the Gateway to the Dales) and makes an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area.

As quaint as its name, Appletreewick village is steeped in history and surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Yorkshire Dales. It boasts two award winning traditional pubs, both serving food and traditional ales.

Locally there is an abundance of superb walking and cycling from the front door and easy access to the river Wharfe. The many local scenic walks include the Dales Way which follows the banks of the River Wharfe, as well as the valley of desolation, Simon’s Seat, Troller’s Gill and Strid Wood at Bolton Abbey. There are plenty of things to do and see to suit all ages including National Trust houses and gardens, Skipton castle, the delightful villages of Burnsall and Grassington, horse riding, golf, fishing, swimming in the river or simply feeding the ducks.

This delightful stone holiday cottage is set well back from the road and benefits from large gardens to the front and rear. It has an elevated position which enables the south facing conservatory to offer exceptional views over beautiful surrounding countryside.

With little to disturb the peace and tranquility of this exceptional setting, Fellside Cottage makes an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in the Yorkshire Dales at any time of the year.
