Attermire Cottage is an old stone holiday cottage which is tucked away up a quaint little cobbled street just off the Market Place in Settle, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It is warm and cosy cottage which benefits from having full gas central heating, making the cottage suitable for rent all year around.
Settle is a vibrant market town in one of the Yorkshire Dales most scenic areas. Located in the foothills of the Pennines it has a weekly market, offers a good selection of interesting independent shops and a wide selection of places to eat.
Attermire cottage is conveniently located close to all of Settle's amenities and for those who enjoy walking, there are walks into the surrounding Dales and up to Castleberg Rock, for magnificent views over the town, from the very front door step. It is also well located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and its many delights with Malham, Grassington, Arncliffe and many other popular Dales villages just a short drive away.
Pubs and restaurants of a high standard are just a short stroll down the cobbled road and Settle railway station, famous for the Settle-Carlisle scenic line, is just four hundred yards away. The cottage is suitable for those who want to leave the car at home and use public transport and if you arrive by train, pick up from the station can be provided.
There are many places to visit locally including: Castleberg Rock, Ribblesdale, Limestone crags and caves, Settle-Carlisle railway, Langcliffe lime kilns and Giggleswick village.
Close by you will also find: Ingleton village and White Scar showcaves, Malham Cove and Malham Tarn, Ribblehead viaduct, Skipton, Bolton Abbey and the Strid, Grassington village, Hawes and the Wensleydale cheese dairy, The Forest of Bowland, Clitheroe and all of the Yorkshire Dales!
For those who want to travel a little further afield, The Lake District, Ilkley, Lancaster, Harrogate, Leeds and the beautiful City of York all make enjoyable days out.

Downstairs is a cosy sitting room with a gas fire, comfortable seating and television with Freeview.
Well equipped newly fitted kitchen area.
A feature staircase leads up to the bedrooms.
There are two bedrooms which together sleep three guests. The double bedroom features an exposed beam and has a view down the cobbles towards the Market Place. The single bedroom has a door-sized window with a view up to Castleberg Rock, the crag that overlooks the town.
Bathroom (refitted in 2008) has a bath with electric shower, washbasin, shaver point and toilet.
Additional information: All fuel, linen and plenty of towels are included in the rent. Cleaning is carried out personally by the owners, who live nearby, ensuring an exceptional level of cleanliness. The cottage has a garage that will accommodate a family car or provide secure bike storage.
