A delightful self-catering stone holiday cottage which is ideally situated just off the main square in the historic market town of Settle and surrounded by some of the Yorkshire Dales most picturesque landscapes.
Settle has something for everyone. It is a great place to shop for everything from antiques and jewelry, to locally produced goats cheese and walking boots and there's a lovely bustle to the town on Tuesday when it is market day. The town has a good selection of restaurants and traditional pubs and there is even a chic wine bar.
The Settle to Carlistle railway runs from Settle and over the spectacular Ribblesdale Viaduct providing a perfect day out. Settle is safe for children and there is a lovely playground next to Booths supermarket and a heated swimming pool and indoor play barn.
From Settle you are ideally placed to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and there are numerous walks beginning in Settle (details can be found at the Cottage). If you prefer more of a challenge and love spectacular scenery the Three peaks Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough are some of the highest peaks in Yorkshire, and offer some amazing limestone pavements, miles of caves and potholes to explore.
Nearby is Ingleton Waterfalls and the White Scar Caves. Also nearby is Malham Cove the limstone amphitheatre, Gordale Scar, Wensleydale, Malham Tarn Nature Reserve, Swaledale and many renowned historic villages, waterfalls and beautiful hill walks.

Cobble Cottage sleeps four guests and is great for couples or friends sharing as well as families. It provides spacious accommodation comprising:
Living/dining room with an exposed stone fireplace and lovely wood burning stove which is ideal for relaxing in front of on those more chilly nights.
Lovely kitchen which is well equipped and looks out over a cobbled courtyard.
Courtyard with access to the street - ideal for storing bikes.
First floor double bedroom with TV and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Second floor, light and spacious attic room with two single beds, exposed beams, TV and a large ensuite bathroom.
Additional information: The cottage is warm and cosy with electric storage heaters throughout. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The cottage has a washing machine and dishwasher, digital TV, DVD (there are large dryers in the launderette just to the back of the cottage). Well behaved pets welcome (must be kept downstairs). No smoking please. A cot and stair gate can be provided upon request. There is a car park near to the cottage and parking is also available on the road. Short breaks available and flexible changeover day may be accommodated - please enquire with the owner.
