This working farm is home to Mulberry Cottage, a luxurious holiday home that sleeps up to six guests, located in a quiet position within easy access to the beautiful areas of East Yorkshire.
The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and the owners encourage guests to make use of their beautiful gardens, farm and the riverside walks for a relaxing and stress free holiday.
There are plenty of things to see and do in this area. Take a wonderful day out and visit the beautiful walled City of York, the market town of Beverley, Kingston upon Hull and the wonderful beaches of the East Yorkshire coastline. The nearest beach is just fifteen minutes drive away at Hornsey or travel a little further to Bridlington with its award winning golden sandy beaches, historic harbour, restaurants, shops and promenades providing everything from a quiet place to sit and watch the world go by, to funfairs.
Further afield are the gentle rolling hills and valleys of the Yorkshire Wolds with its picturesque villages, beautiful scenery and neighbouring seaside resorts including Scarborough, Withernsea and the spectacular Heritage Coastline.
Alternatively, stay locally and explore the farms four hundred acres, which is a haven for wildlife including otter, deer and numerous different birds. On-site chalkstream fly fishing is available by arrangement with the owner and there are plenty of farmyard animals to see including cows (and calves), horses (and foals), chickens, pigs, geese and ponies - this is a real farm so plenty to see! There is also a children's play area at the back of the cottage with slides, swings and climbing frame and guests are welcome to use the large well maintained garden to relax in, as well as the grass tennis court for ball games.
The village of Driffield is just one and a half miles away providing shops, pubs and restaurants.
