Church Farm is home to two charming holiday cottages that can accommodate parties of two or four guests. It provides an ideal base for sight-seeing, exploring the East Riding or simply relaxing in a rural setting.
Located in the village of Garton on the Wolds, the cottages are within easy driving distance to a host of attractions and places of interest including stately homes and gardens, galleries, museums, traditional market towns, historic cities and of course, the glorious East coast of Yorkshire.
The traditional market town of Driffield is just a three mile drive from Garton on the Wolds and provides a good number of interesting shops. The historic town of Beverley is fourteen miles away and also has a good selection of shops, along with its splendid 13th Century Minster and Racecourse.
The city of Hull is approximately twenty five miles from the village, as is the historic City of York which is very popular with tourists and certainly worth a visit. Here you can wander the quaint little streets, take a boat trip along the River Ouse or a bus tour of the city, enjoy afternoon tea at the renowned Betty's Tea Rooms and marvel at the magnificent York Minster.
There are stately homes nearby including Sledmere House, Burton Constable Hall and Burton Agnes Hall. Castle Howard near Malton in North Yorkshire is also only a thirty minute drive away.
The coastal towns of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey with their award winning sandy beaches are all within easy reach and a little further afield (forty miles) is Whitby which is famous for its Abbey and its nearby coastal villages including Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay.
Situated in the Yorkshire Wolds, Garton on the Wolds is an ideal location for those who enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding. The gentle rolling countryside of the Wolds provides an ideal terrain for walkers and has a wealth of green lanes and bridleways which can also be explored by bike or horseback. For those who enjoy golf, there is an 18 hole golf course at Driffield which is an easy walking course in a tranquil setting.
The peaceful rural position of Church Farm offers an ideal base for exploring this wonderful part of Yorkshire along with its many attractions.

Foldyard Cottage provides comfortable ground floor holiday accommodation that is ideal for families or two couples. The cottage has a lovely outlook onto the courtyard garden and comprises:

Additional information: The price includes central heating, hot water, electricity, bed linen and towels. Short breaks are offered all year round. One or two well behaved dogs are very welcome, but only by prior arrangement and a charge for pets if appropriate. Complimentary wireless broadband internet access in available.
