Bottoms Farm Cottages offer three Four Star holiday cottages that can accommodate parties of two to six guests individually. The holiday cottages have been sympathetically converted from a two hundred year old barn and now offer self catering accommodation in Oakworth, near Haworth in Yorkshire.
Secluded and peaceful, the cottages sit in an idyllic south facing position in the centre of the owners thirty five acre sheep farm, enjoying beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and moors.
The pretty village of Haworth is just four miles away from the cottages, and is home to the famous Worth Valley Railway and the Bronte Parsonage museum. Sitting just below the wonderful West Yorkshire moors, the picturesque village of Haworth is a delight to visit. Here you can wander down its cobbled main street and visit the many gift shops, pubs and cafés it has to offer.
Skipton, well known as the 'gateway to the Yorkshire Dales' is also just a short drive away (eight miles) and is an attractive market town that offers a delightful outdoor market and Castle, along with a variety of interesting eating establishments, shops and pubs.
A little further afield are Harrogate, the City of York, Saltaire, Hebden Bridge, Bolton Abbey and Herriot Country, all providing numerous attractions.
If you prefer to stay locally and don’t want to travel by car there are miles of wonderful walks in the local area that can be taken right from the cottage front door. There is also a traditional country pub within one and a half miles, with log fires in the winter, delicious food and a warm welcome.
The nearest shop is three miles away or four miles into Keighley which offers the usual range of shops, a market and three large supermarkets.
For local transport the bus is one and half miles away and Keighley Train Station is four miles with trains to Leeds, Skipton and Bradford every half an hour on weekdays. The journey on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway which travels over the Ribblehead Viaduct can be picked up from Keighley Station and is well worth a trip for the scenery alone!
The central location of Bottoms Farm Cottages makes it not only a perfect rural retreat for a relaxing holiday, but also a great base from which to visit both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

With a choice of three Four Star holiday cottages, Bottoms Farm Cottages are ideal for couples, families or friends who want to enjoy a holiday together.
The Shippon is ideal for couples, sleeping two guests in a double bedroom.
The Mistal sleeps four guests in one double and one twin bedroom.
The Barn sleeps up to four adults and two children in one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge area.
All cottages are well equipped with lounge providing comfortable seating, a wide-screen television with Freesat, unlimited Wi-Fi connection and CD player. Kitchens are well equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine.
Facilities:
A cot and high chair are available on request.
Each cottage has electric central heating.
All cottages have a bathroom with WC, bath with shower over, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Bedrooms have quality mattresses and lots of storage. Double rooms have a choice of luxurious feather or hollow fibre duvets.
There is a large patio overlooking the valley and each cottage has its own garden furniture with loungers and barbeque also available in the summer.
Additional information: You can make your holiday extra special - the owners are happy to help with any requests such as flowers, champagne or chocolates for birthdays or anniversaries etc. All prices include all heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels. Discounts are offered for under-occupancy in larger cottages if the cottage you require is already booked. Unfortunately no pets or smoking in any of the cottages.
