Beales Corner is an 17th Century Grade II listed holiday cottage in a delightful position overlooking the River Severn in the attractive Georgian town of Bewdley, Worcestershire. The cottage is perfectly positioned just a short stroll away from the many shops and restaurants that this lovely town has to offer.

The River Severn passes through Bewdley, making it a popular place for angling. Nature lovers too can enjoy the rich diversity of wildlife with the ancient woodland of the Wyre Forest surrounding the west of the town.

The National Cycle Network passes directly through Bewdley and a number of circular walks can be taken from the town centre providing the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside. The cottage has recently been restored and equipped to a high standard.

It is situated seventeen miles north of the Cathedral city of Worcester which provides a wealth of attractions and events and borders the Cotswold's. Birmingham is too within easy reach and just twenty seven miles away.

There are may places of interest and local attractions to enjoy including: The Severn Valley Railway; West Midland Safari Park; The Wyre Forest with nature trails, cycle paths and Go Ape - a high wire adventure course; and Bewdley Museum where the history of the town can be fully appreciated.

Number 3 Beales Corner is a delightful Grade II star listed building dating back to 1618. It has recently undergone a complete restoration and has the unique feature of rare murals said to be based on Aesop's Fables. The cottage sleeps up to six guests and offers the following accommodation and facilities: Master bedroom on the top floor with a kingsize bed and Freesat television. Also on the top floor is the luxuriously appointed bathroom with a roll top bath and hand shower. First floor second bedroom with a double bed plus a double sofa bed. Living area which is also on the first floor with Freesat television and a comfortable three piece suite. Ground floor dining room with seating for six guests and a music system with ipod docking. New bespoke kitchen with a five burner gas hob, eye level electric double oven, microwave and dishwasher. Separate laundry area with a washer/dryer with a WC. In the kitchen and dining room are log burners for nice cosy winters! Additional information: Included in the price is the gas central heating, electricity and linen. Dogs (two maximum) are allowed providing they remain downstairs. There is parking immediately outside the cottage for one car and there are three public car parks in town and all are within a five minute walk. It may be possible to offer a flexible changeover day - please speak to the owner.
