Herons Well is a newly converted five star Gold holiday cottage that is located on a working farm in a lovely rural location in West Kirby, Wirral. Ideal for both business and holiday lets, Herons Well can accommodate up to six guests in three ensuite bedrooms and it provides luxurious holiday accommodation that is ideally located for visiting the lovely Blue Flag Beaches, along with Liverpool (fifteen minutes) and Chester (thirty minutes).
With a downstairs easy to access bedroom, this delightful holiday cottage may be suitable for people with limited mobility (Level 2 National Accessible Scheme). It is furnished to a high standard and is sure to provide every comfort required for a memorable and relaxing holiday.
Ideally located in West Kirby, Herons Well is close to Hoylake (the venue of the 2006 Open Golf Championship) and Hilbre Island. Nearby there are a wide range of leisure activities to enjoy. For those who are keen on golf, Wirral boasts seventeen golf clubs! You are just a short drive away from Lancashire, Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales and if you want to simply relax, there are a number of excellent beaches on our door step, including West Kirby beach (coveted Blue Flag) where you will find the Marine Lake providing windsurfing and sailing.
For those who enjoy eating out, Herons Well is surrounded by a wealth of dining experiences, from fine dining and classy bistros, to hearty family fare. There are also a number of take away providers for those who want a cosy night at home in front of the log fire!

Herons Well is a two storey semi detached barn conversion, providing luxurious holiday accommodation on a working farm in the rural coastal village of West Kirby.
This spacious holiday cottage can accommodate up to six guests in three large en-suite bedrooms and provides the following accommodation and facilities:
- Two double ensuite bedrooms upstairs.
- One twin bedroom on the ground floor with full bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a separate level entry shower - ideal for the less able bodied traveler.
- Spacious kitchen/dining area where six people can comfortably sit and enjoy supper together.
- Living area with comfortable sofas, television, DVD player and lovely log burning stove - ideal for those more chilly nights!
- Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and room to store coats and shoes.
- The barn benefits from under floor heating, complimentary Wi Fi and has ample off road parking.
- Patio area with garden furniture - ideal for eating alfresco.
Additional information: Short breaks offered Monday - Friday (£600.00) and Friday - Monday (£600.00) - please note that they may not be available during peak holiday periods unless the booking is made within 14 days of the start of the holiday. The rental price is fully inclusive of gas, electricity bed linen, duvets and towels. A cot and high chair are available if required - please advise me at time of booking. Normal Changeover day is Friday but this can be flexible.

It has been so nice to live on a working farm. Tony was kind enough to give is a tour of the milking parlour in full operation, with information on how the whole feeding and milking system works.
