Rectory Cottages are two stylish recently converted holiday cottages that are within walking distance of the National Trust village of Lacock in Wiltshire and on the very edge of the Cotswolds.
Formally the old stables, the holiday cottages are interlinked together and each have two bedrooms, modern interiors, vaulted ceilings and sit in the grounds of a wonderful Victorian rectory. Each cottage can be rented separately to suit friends, families or couples, or together to accommodate larger parties of eight to ten guests and each cottage has its own garden and views over the fields, the orchard and the rectory gardens.
Lacock is a charming rural village that is full of history and perfectly placed for exploring Wiltshire, the Cotswolds, the West Country and the cities of Bath and Bristol. London is less than an hour and a half away by train and with main transport routes nearby, Lacock is a great stop-over location on a longer trip. It is also a perfect holiday destination for a relaxing break with plenty of attractions within the area to visit including Bowood, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Castle Combe, Roman Baths, Longleat, Avebury and much more.
