Located in the heart of the Sussex countryside, Clayton Court Stables is located right at the foot of the South Downs, making it perfect for those who enjoy walking or who simply want to relax within lovely countryside.
The hamlet of Clayton is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the new South Downs National Park just a stones throw away.
Walk to the end of the garden and stroll up the bridle way and you will find yourself in the undulating beauty of the South Downs. A small climb will reward your efforts with endless vistas of lovely rolling farmland of the Sussex Weald and stunning views of the scarp slope of the Downs.
Continue on a little further and you come to the South Downs Way and the famous Jack and Jill windmills.
Explore the hamlet of Clayton, with its 1000 year old church and good pub serving food and ale or travel to the vibrant colourful and cosmopolitan City of Brighton which is just eight miles away and approximately fifteen minutes by car. This fun, lively, popular seaside resort offers a wealth of things to do and see - award winning restaurants, Regency heritage, fantastic shopping, beautiful gardens to wander or relax in, the famous Brighton Pier and of course the beach!
The beautiful county of Sussex has so much to offer with castles, country houses, gardens, forts, parks and lovely countryside just waiting to be explored by foot, bike or horse back.

Clayton Court Stables sleeps two guests (plus sofa bed for additional two guests if required) and accommodation comprises:
Large double bedroom with built in cupboards and various antiques.
One separate bedroom with sofa bed for additional guest sleeping if required.
Kitchen and breakfast area.
Spacious living room and dining area with three sofas nad a large dining table/chairs.
Bathroom with bath and WC.
Additional information: Unfortunately pets and children can not be accommodated. A television is provided within the cottage but reception can be poor. There is off road parking and garden.
