Both Braunston Mill and Mill Cottage stand in the Heart of England and are situated in the historic village of Braunston. This delightful village is famed for its canals with the village being the point where the Grand Union and Oxford Canals meet.
Both holiday cottages provide luxurious self catering holiday accommodation of a high degree of comfort and style. Mill Cottage is the perfect Romantic Retreat for just two and Braunston Mill is ideal for parties of up to six guests. Both can be hired independently or together to accommodate larger parties of eight. Both The Mill and Mill Cottage are positioned apart with a good degree of privacy and both have there own individual private Hot Tubs for guests enjoyment.
Whilst the canals were once the main transport network of the time, today Braunston's waters are very busy with leisure boats, accompanying tourists and related businesses. There is a canalside walk which takes you for an enjoyable stroll past Chandlers, souvenir shops, boat builders/fitters and the Old Pump House with its enormous chimney which is now used as moorings for the many narrow boats stationed here.
A must to visit is the Marina which has been extensively restored with new warehouse style accommodation. All historical buildings and equipment have been beautifully repainted and this is now one of the most impressive inland Marinas in England.
There are plenty of things to see and do in this wonderful area including: Stratford upon Avon which is twenty seven miles through wonderful country side; Warwick with its incredible Castle; Royal Leamington Spa, a great town with art galleries and fashion shops and a good choice of golf courses. Alternatively, do what many others do and simply relax locally and enjoy the wonderful setting along with sampling the local food and ale at one of the pubs within walking distance.

Within the grounds of this exceptional 18th Century mill stands Mill Cottage, a perfect place for that romantic break for couples who want to get away and relax together.
A retreat for just two, the Mill Cottage comprises:
Lounge with two gorgeous contemporary Italian black leather sofas for you to curl up on and watch your favourite DVD or Satellite programme on the 32″Plasma TV.
kitchen/diner laid out in a contemporary theme and equipped with everything you might need. Alternatively, truly relax and try one of the three pubs within the village that serve fantastic food or order a take away, from traditional Fish and Chips to Chinese - all within walking distance in the village.
Bedroom, stylishly furnished in warm red containing an all leather double bed. A hifi system provides the music or watch your favourite TV programme in bed. Waiting for you in your bedroom will be two white fluffy dressing gowns for you to use during your stay.
En-suite with 1.5 metre round bath just right for two to share!
Downstairs shower room and toilet completes the facilities within the cottage.
To make your stay complete you have the use of your own Hot Tub which is maintained at a constant 38 degrees ready for you to use when you wish within its own Bedouin style tent structure (at small additional charge of £10 per use payable locally).
Additional information: Upon arrival waiting for you will be a bottle of wine to welcome you to Mill Cottage along with a welcome basket of essentials for your breakfast. The owners also supply lots of other luxuries to make your stay special which are all included in the price. Strictly no smoking within the cottage and unfortunately, no children and no dogs. Short breaks are offered throughout the whole year.
