This cosy 16th Century holiday cottages offers character well equipped accommodation for up to four guests. It is positioned in the picturesque rural hamlet of Chediston, near Halesworth in Suffolk and offers village views, private parking for two cars and a very warm welcome. Wren Cottage has exposed beams, a garden and a lovely open fire, making it perfect at any time of the year. There are also some lovely country walks from the doorstep of the cottage making it an ideal retreat for those looking for a relaxing holiday.
The beautiful Suffolk Heritage coast, Dunwich, Southwold and Minsmere RSPB are all nearby and there are cycle routes and fishing within the local area. Whatever the time of year, Southwold is a delight to visit, with its sandy beach, working lighthouse, award winning pier, beach huts and busy harbour bringing in wonderful fresh fish - why not bring some home to create a special supper!
Dunwich Heath is run by the National trust and consists of miles of excellent walks and tracks through open heath land along with its shady wooded paths which provide a home for wildlife in this important nature conservation area. From the car park you can access the beach, coastguard cottages, shop and tea room.
Halesworth is just two mile away from the cottage and is an historic market town with railway and airfield museums. It also hosts the local supermarket, banks, restaurants, pubs, fish and chip shop and post office.
RSPB Minsmere is famous to birdwatchers and speaks for itself. Walberswick is famous for The British Open Crabbing Championships and crabbing by the harbour provides hours of entertainment for the children in the summer.
Walberswick has tea rooms, restaurants, two pubs, gift shops and an art gallery. There are also local golf clubs in Halesworth and you can even go trout fishing at Ash Farm just half a mile from Wren Cottage. Various animal parks can be found locally including Africa Alive which boasts to be one of UK's largest, most exciting wildlife attractions set in one hundred acres of dramatic coastal parkland.

Back door leading from kitchen to rear garden.
Family bathroom with shower over the bath.
Upstairs double bedroom with exposed beams, Edwardian bedstead, wardrobe, drawers, crisp clean linen and views of the village.
Twin bedroom with exposed beams, Edwardian bedsteads, crisp bed linens, drawers and views of the church.
Additional information: Garden furniture is provided. Garage and parking to the rear. Electricity is included within the price. Pets are welcome.
The owners also own the adjoining cottage (St Cedds) and can accommodate parties of up to eight if both cottages are rented together. The adjoining cottage also sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and may be available to rent if Wren Cottage is booked.
