18 Pilgrims Way is located in a peaceful corner of the idyllic Suffolk seaside village of Thorpeness. Located just a mile and half along the beach from Aldeburgh, the holiday cottage is ideally located just minutes from the beach, pub, restaurant, local shop and Golf Club. The village also has a windmill and a Meare (boating lake) where you can explore the shallow waters during the summer months by rowing boat.
The fashionable seaside town of Aldeburgh, with its cafes, pubs, independent shops and restaurants is just a short drive away, as is Sizewell and Leiston. Also nearby is the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere - a birdwatchers paradise; and the small village of Snape, home to the world-renowned Aldeburgh Music Festival at Snape Maltings concert hall.
The area around Thorpeness and Aldeburgh has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are plenty of attractions to enjoy, whether you're visiting for a family holiday by the sea, a romantic break, or catching up with friends. It is also ideal for those who enjoy walking and cycling with some lovely coastal and countryside scenery just waiting to be explored.

18 Pilgrims Way is located on a private road in a quiet part of the village and allows very easy access by foot to the beach and village amenities.
Accommodation comprises:
Ground floor
Large modern kitchen/diner, with Neff appliances and patio doors opening onto a large paved patio area.
Shower room.
Two comfortable lounge areas - one off the kitchen/diner with woodburner and the other across the hallway, with a flat screen television with Sky FreeSat.
Upstairs
Two king-size bedrooms.
One bedroom with bunk beds for children
Family bathroom.
The cottage is the owners holiday home beside the sea, and as such, has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard, complete with the many extras.
Additional information: Luxurious duvets and pillows are provided as is cotton bed linen for all beds, towels (inc beach towels) and cloths/tea towels for the kitchen. Well behaved dogs are welcome, at the owners discretion, but please advise the owners at time of booking. Rental rates include all utilities. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. Short breaks and flexible changeover days may be available upon request. There is internet access and an honesty phone for guests use.
Outside: The rear garden is fully enclosed and therefore safe for small children. There is a large patio, complete with furniture and a Gas barbecue and ample off-road parking for three cars on the driveway, a precious commodity in the busy summer months.
