St Cedds is a charming cosy 16th Century holiday cottages which oozes original character. Well equipped, it is ideal for couples or families, sleeping up to four guests. Larger parties of eight can be accommodated if Wren Cottage is also booked at the same time (Wren Cottage adjoins St Cedds - please see the owners separate advert for full details on this cottage).
The holiday cottages are situated in the rural picturesque Suffolk hamlet of Chediston, near Halesworth and each cottage affords village views, private parking and a lovely warm welcome. With exposed beams, gardens and wonderful open fires, the cottages are perfect retreats at any time of the year with lovely country walks from the doorstep.
The wonderful Suffolk Heritage Coast, Southwold, Dunwich and Minsmere RSPB are all located near to the cottages and there are cycle routes and fishing locally. Southwold is a delight to visit at any time of the year with its sandy beach, award winning pier, beach huts, working lighthouse and busy harbour bringing in fantastic fresh fish - why not buy some and create a special fish supper!
Dunwich Heath (owned by the National trust) with its rare and precious habitat that is alive with wildlife, is nearby and offers miles of fantastic walks through expansive heath land and shady wooded paths. From the car park, the beach, tea room, shop and coastguard cottages are all accessible.
Halesworth, a historic market town, is just two mile away, with railway and airfield museums, along with restaurants, pubs, local supermarket, banks, post office and a fish and chip shop.
The pretty village of Walberswick is nearby with tea rooms, two pubs, restaurants, gift shops and an art gallery. Halesworth offers local golf clubs and you can go trout fishing at Ash Farm just half a mile from the cottages. The area has a whole host of attractions including various animal parks such as Africa Alive which claims to be one of the UK's largest, wildlife attractions.

Living room with lovely exposed beams, open fire, wooden floor, comfortable seating, Freeview television and DVD player.
Sun porch.
Fully equipped kitchen/diner with oven, fridge freezer, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dining table with four chairs.
Back door leading from kitchen to rear garden.
Ground floor family bathroom with shower over the bath.
Upstairs offers two double bedrooms with exposed beams and views of the village.
