No. 1 Mosses Cottage, is a delightful two-bedroom holiday cottage that is located in the quiet village of Friston, near to the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk.
Located on the edge of the village, in a quiet, elevated position, the cottage has been constructed from traditional materials to give a charming traditional feel and provides cosy accommodation for up to three guests.
With one double bedroom and a single bedroom, the cottage is ideal for couples looking for a romantic break away or suitable for three adults or two adults and a child.
The local area offers a wide range of activities and amenities to suit all ages. There are lovely pubs and restaurants in Aldeburgh and the surrounding villages and towns; plenty of walking; cycling; sailing; fishing; bird-watching; golf and other outdoor activities.
Friston is a quiet Suffolk village that is close to the coast, with an excellent local pub serving local ales and good home cooked food. There is not a local shop in Friston, but the Friday Street Farm Shop is nearby and sells local produce. There are also shops and supermarkets available in Leiston, along with Aldeburgh and Saxmundham.
Good pubs and restaurants can be found in Snape, Orford and Aldeburgh, along with many of the other attractive villages and towns in the area.
Whether you want a relaxing break or you want to explore the many local attractions that this area has to offer, Mosses Cottage is a great place to base yourself.

Accommodation comprises:
Well appointed kitchen at the back of the house with access to the garden. It is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and toaster.
Sitting/dining room, situated at the front of the house with comfortable seating and a dining table with four chairs. It is equipped with a television and a DVD player and there is a good selection of books and games, videos and DVDs. There is an open fireplace for real fires, providing the perfect place for relaxing on those more chilly nights!
Master bedroom at the back of the house with a king sized bed, wardrobe, dressing table, television with video player.
Second bedroom with one single bed which is suitable for one child or an adult. There is a built in wardrobe and towels and linen are supplied for both bedrooms.
Outside: The garden is safe and enclosed, mainly lawn, with a patio. A secure wooden shed houses patio furniture and is suitable for storage of bicycles. A barbeque is provided.
Additional information: The oil-fired central heating boiler is very efficient, producing instant hot water and heating the cottage quickly. The cottage is available year round for weekly rental and also for short breaks on a 'last minute' basis. Lettings run from Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise arranged. All prices include 100% cotton bedding and towels, electricity and heating. One well-behaved pet is allowed. The owners will often negotiate short stays for two or four nights, except in August and September.
