Saxmundham is situated near to the Suffolk coast just off the A12 north of Ipswich, and is eight miles from Aldeburgh, four miles from Snape, thirteen miles from Dunwich and fifteen miles from Southwold. For nature lovers, the RSPB reserve at Minsmere is just seven miles away and golfers can enjoy 'pay and play' at the Seckford Golf Club which is just fifteen miles away.
