This charming mid-terrace brick and flint cottage is a perfect holiday base for visiting Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Newmarket and the East Anglian coastline. It is easily accessible and lies just two minutes from the A14.
The cottage comfortably sleeps five guests (and a cot for a baby can also be supplied) and is situated in the pretty village of Fornham All Saints. There is a fine pub in the village, which serves excellent food and ale, as well as a small shop where you can stock up on provisions.
For those who enjoy golf, there are two golf courses within a mile of the cottage, as well as a hotel spa complex and swimming pool.
The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds' is just five minutes away by car and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere along with plenty of things to do and see. There are a good selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes and attractions include: Greene King Brewery and Museum; Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery; St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the Theatre Royal to name just a few. From the cottage there is also a regular bus service to the town and the train station, with excellent links throughout East Anglia and beyond, is also just five minutes away.
