Newton Hurst Barn accommodates four to five guests and is a detached holiday barn that has recently been beautifully converted to retain original oak beams along with modern conveniences. It is ideal for a relaxing weekend break or longer holiday to enjoy a flavour of the peace and quiet of the countryside.

With an open plan living area, a double and twin bedroom, central heating, south facing terraced area with large garden and open views to three sides, this is an ideal peaceful holiday retreat at any time of the year.

Newton Hurst Barn is in a very peaceful tranquil location in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside and ideal for those who enjoy walking. From here you can enjoy a very pretty ten kilometer woodland walk around Blithfield reservoir which is a haven for wildlife or visit the attractions the area has to offer. The historic village of Abbots Bromley (famous for its Horn Dance Day), is just two miles away with five country pubs that all serve good food and ale (children are always welcome).

For those seeking excitement, Alton Towers, the UK's most thrilling theme park is twenty five minutes away; Drayton Manor Theme Park and the Snowdome at Tamworth are both approximately thirty minutes away and the Peak District National Park is approximately twenty miles away. Cannock Chase, arguably the premier mountain biking location in the West Midlands is also twenty minutes away offering excellent facilities including: adventure play area; miles of exhilarating mountain bike trails (bike hire also available) and a new Go Ape high ropes adventure course. The magnificent Fairoak fishing pools are also close to the forest centre and the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas is a twenty minute drive.

Another great attraction is The Complete Working Historic Estate Of Shugborough Hall (where the late Lord Lichfield resided) which provides the opportunity to step back in history. Several market towns are nearby including Ashbourne - the gateway to the Derbyshire Peak District; Stafford (Staffordshire County Showground is a fifteen minute country drive); Lichfield and Uttoxeter, with its famous racecourse, shopping, cinema and tenpin bowling. There is a Monkey Park near Trentham Gardens which includes several outlet shops and magnificent garden centre (approximately twenty minutes away). Ironbridge Gorge Museum and the N.E.C are one hours drive away.
