Lime Trees and Beech Wood are two charming, four star holiday homes that are located in the Staffordshire Moorlands, alongside the picturesque Caldon Canal in the grounds of a Victorian Waterworks.
Each cottage sleeps up to six guests and they are ideal for visiting local attractions within the area or simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful countryside.
Located just a short drive (approximately four miles) from the bustling market town of Leek with its potteries, antique shops, good eating establishments and individual shops, this is a real hidden gem which is teeming with wildlife and steeped in history.
There are footpaths, cycle tracks and bus links to help you explore the area along with country pubs and local shops. Here you can walk, cycle, play golf and climb the hills and valleys.
Nearby attractions include: Cheadle, home to Pugin's masterpiece, St. Giles' Church; the Award winning Wedgwood Museum and Visitor Centre; the Potteries Museum; Etruria Industrial Museum; the Gladstone Pottery Museum; the Regent Theatre; the New Victoria Theatre; the Victoria Hall; many Pottery factory shops including Royal Doulton, Burleigh, Wedgwood, Portmeirion, Churchill China and Hartley Greens; The Churnet Valley, just along the Caldon Canal, home to an exciting steam railway that runs through the enchanting "hidden valley" and Rudyard Lake - most within ten miles and a good number are nearer.
