The Brew House is a delightful holiday cottage, located in the beautiful Quantock Hills in Somerset. The cottage is ideal for couples with one double bedroom which can also be made up as a twin or family room to accommodate parties of four.
Converted from redundant outbuildings, The Brew House is one of four cottages that sit within around five acres of woodland and garden which are surrounded by fields. The grounds border a valley of mature woodland and are situated on the lower slopes of the Quantocks, set deep in Somerset's beautiful rolling countryside.
One of Somerset's best kept secrets, The Quantocks are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are a haven for wildlife which provide fantastic walking opportunities amongst beautiful countryside. Other local activities include golf, fishing and cycling.
The small Somerset village of Goathurst is nearby to the cottages with its ancient church and welcoming atmosphere. The Brew House is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday and makes a great base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and its many attractions. These include: West Somerset Steam Railway where you can take a nostalgic trip back in time through the beautiful countryside; Durleigh Reservoir where you can enjoy fishing, windsurfing and sailing; Hestercombe House with its wonderful formal gardens and Fyne Court National Trust Nature Reserve.

The Brew House is a delightful retreat for two and is located adjacent to the main house, sitting between the main lawns and the old stable yard. The cottage has a pleasant atmosphere enhanced by a wood burner which is ideal for chilly nights. With one bedroom the cottage offers the following accommodation and facilities:
Open plan kitchen/dining/living area on the ground floor.
Comfortable size double bedroom on the first floor (which can also be used as a twin or family room to accommodate four), along with a bathroom with over bath shower.
Changeover day: Flexible changeover day offered and short breaks welcome (please see the owners website for prices)
Additional information: Well behaved dogs are welcome. The cottage is equipped with an oven/grill/hob, washing machine, fridge with icebox, microwave, kettle, toaster, hand mixer, iron, hairdryer and ironing board. Limited internet access is available but it can be variable as can a mobile phone signal. Cotton bed linen and towels are supplied. Cot and high-chair are available by request. There is garden furniture for enjoying meals outside and a barbeque is available.
