Leat Cottage is a purpose built self catering holiday cottage which offers spacious contemporary holiday accommodation for up to six guests. It is located within the grounds of the owner's small farm which is home to twenty breeding Ewes and some pet goats. The farm is situated on the fringe of Coleford village and is surrounded by lovely open farmland.
The village has a pub and shop which are both within walking distance and there are also many other excellent places to eat within a couple of miles. There is an extensive network of footpaths and also The Colliers way cycle path nearby, giving walking and cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the countryside.

Leat cottage has a spacious open plan living area with a panoramic window and French doors which lead to a terrace where many a lazy day can be spent relaxing alongside the river. The river is a super spot for seeing wildlife and it is often visited by a Heron and a Kingfisher.
The cottage has been furnished and equipped to a high standard of comfort and style and is perfect all year round with under floor heating throughout the ground floor.
It has three bedrooms, two with King size beds (one of these is a ground floor room) and the other with two single beds, thus allowing parties of six to be comfortably accommodated.
Access to the cottage from the parking area is all on one level and there is a downstairs power shower with WC, possibly making the property suitable for people with limited mobility (please discuss your requirements with the owner). There is also a bathroom upstairs.
Additional information: Children are welcome, however, parents of very young children may need to take note of the close proximity to the river leat, although the owners have put lockable railings around the terrace for added peace of mind and safety. All electricity, heating, hot water, bed linen, towels, welcome box (Tea bags, Coffee, Milk, Bread, Butter), washing up liquid & dishwasher tablets are provided.
