Y Beudy sleeps seven guests in three bedrooms (plus a cot) and is a luxury new four star barn conversion that offers guests a high degree of comfort and style with its own private hot tub, Wi-Fi access and landscaped gardens. The barn is set in a beautiful location within the spectacular Snowdonia National Park and affords stunning views over the mountains which can be enjoyed from the hot tub!
One of three exceptional holiday cottages, Y Beudy sits in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful village of Llanuwchllyn and the Aran mountain. Llanuwchllyn is just one mile away and can be reached along the footpath - a lovely walk alongside the river taking you into the village where you will find the Eagles Inn serving great homemade food.
The surrounding area is a walkers paradise with long leisurely walks through the surrounding countryside along the public footpaths from the village. You can also take a trip on the little steam train from the village to the bustling market town of Bala.
Bala is just a ten minute drive from Y Beudy and sits at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake (the largest natural lake in Wales). The town offers a good selection of quality restaurants and pubs and is within easy driving distance of some great shopping and historical towns including Ruthin, Chester, Porthmadog and Llangollen.
Ideal for a family break and also a perfect romantic retreat, Y Beudy is close to mountains and beaches and offers all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday, or to use as a base for exploring the many attractions and magic of North Wales.

Y Beudy is an exceptional traditional Welsh 18th century stone long barn that has been converted to a very high standard to provide holiday accommodation for up to seven guests (plus cot). With its own private hot tub, the barn is a fantastic retreat for families and also makes a luxurious and spacious romantic getaway for couples.
Accommodation comprises:
One galleried king-size bedroom.
One family room with three single divan beds that can be joined together by prior arrangement to form one large double bed and one single. The family room has separate access to a shared en-suite comprising bath with shower over, basin and WC.
One ground floor king-size bedroom with en-suite, comprising bath with shower over, basin and WC.
Separate ground floor WC with washbasin.
Spacious open plan living area with high vaulted ceiling, dining area, fitted kitchen, sitting area with three steps down to a sun lounge with French doors opening out onto the decked area with hot tub - a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day and take in the wonderful mountain views!
Additional information: Y Beudy is open all year round and short breaks are available throughout the year - great last minute offers often available - just ask the owner! Wi-Fi available for £10 per stay. There is no extra charge for the use of the Hot Tub. Child friendly environment and a child minding service is available by arrangement. Y Beudy has under floor heating keeping your toes warm! Complimentary welcome food and drinks provided (home baked cake, fresh milk, teas, coffee and Bryn Caled special fudge bar). Fluffy white bathrobes, towels and slippers provided. All cottages are non-smoking. Maid service available Monday to Friday by arrangement. Delicious full Welsh breakfast can be delivered to your cottage for £10 per person and dinner can be delivered for £15 per person (menus available on request). Homemade "eat any time" slow cooker meal available for £8 per person - the perfect welcome after a long journey! Sorry, no pets.
