Bay View is the end terrace of three cottages originally built at the turn of the century for the local manganese miners. It has been fully modernised over the last five years and now offers very comfortable holiday accommodation for up to five guests
If you are looking for a peaceful holiday cottage with amazing views, walks from your front door and stunning scenery then look no more!
Rhiw is one of the highest villages on the Llŷn Peninsula and is well placed being just three miles from Aberdaron and eight miles from Abersoch. The historic village of Aberdaron offers a lovely safe Blue Flag sandy beach and there are two pubs serving excellent food, a Spar, bakery, newsagents/off license and cafe. There are also numerous other beaches and coves within a short drive such as Hell's Mouth (one mile) offering three miles of sand and good surfing and Porth Ysgo (two miles) which is approached by 200 steps so quiet, wild and never crowded!
Other local attractions include: numerous beaches and coves; the harbour village of Abersoch; the market town of Pwllheli; boat trips to the holy island of Bardsey; the Portmeirion village; Ffestiniog steam railway and two golf courses within easy reach.
Designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and set in National Trust land there is ample opportunity to enjoy the nearby hilltop walks and coastline. The Iron Age Fort of Rhiw and the National Trust property of Plas yn Rhiw are within minutes of the cottage.

Beautiful Cottage! We have had such a relaxing holiday. The view is “magic”. The weather was perfect until Friday (some rain), no complaints though. Very clean cottage will highly recommend. O & M Kent
We so enjoyed the opportunity to be together (very old friends from primary school days). The views were amazing & although weather changeable, we were out every day along the coastal path and hills. We walked up Yr Eifl (on B4417 N of Nefyn ), amazing views, & I jogged around the headland, glorious, Hope to return again.

Thank you very much for letting us stay in your homely cottage – our first time here, but not our first on this headland. This is a place where we really can unwind. Magical moment- one morning when it was sunny here, but Hell’s Mouth covered in fluffy white cloud with just the highest hills peeping through- like flying above clouds. We will be back!!
