The Pad is one of two holiday cottages, situated in the Snowdonia National Park within the small village of Llanegryn, near to the seaside town of Tywyn, in the county of Gwynedd. At the seaward end of the stunning Dysynni Valley, The Pad affords wonderful views of Bird Rock (famous for its nesting cormorants) and Cader Idris (a popular mountain for climbers and walkers).
Nearby you will find sandy beaches, woods, a ruined castle, waterfalls, sea and river fishing, rock pools and lovely walks, ranging from an easy stroll to a more challenging expedition. For those who enjoy golf, Aberdovey offers an excellent golf course. The small town of Tywyn has a cinema, the famous Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway and a leisure centre with fitness suite and swimming pool.
The Pad is ideal for couples looking for a relaxing retreat and perfectly positioned at the end of a quiet lane with no passing traffic. Guests have the benefit of being able to use the open fire barbeque in the wild part of the garden and the gardens are quite extensive, allowing guests to enjoy different views and areas and find a secluded spot to relax. The cottage is also so near to the sea that the climate is very pleasant and mild.
This is the ideal place for a really relaxing and peaceful holiday!

The Pad is a very pretty cottage and is great for couples!
It has a stable door which leads into the beamed pine kitchen/dining room, with whitewashed stone walls and pine table and chairs. The shower room is also downstairs.
An unusual curved staircase (with book shelves on the way up) leads to a pretty bed/sitting room, with comfy Scandinavian style double bed, television/DVD player, easy chairs etc.
The Pad is welcoming and well equipped with all you should need for a relaxing and memorable holiday. There is plenty of storage space in the barn for bikes etc and hanging wet clothes to dry.
