This fully renovated and newly furnished 19th century former fisherman's cottage is nestled within the medieval walls of picturesque Conwy, a World Heritage Site, and features fantastic views of the Castle and River from a private roof terrace. An ideal all-year holiday base for exploring the magnificent mountains and beaches of North Wales.
Located in a quite side street against the 13th century town walls, Castleview Cottage is ideally positioned, with easy access to all amenities and attractions of medieval Conwy. All the town's facilities are within a two minute walk of the cottage including interesting shops, tearooms, restaurants, the harbour, the medieval castle and historic buildings.
Conwy, on the edge the Snowdonia National Park, is an ideal base to explore the region's beaches, mountains, gardens and other attractions. A huge range of outdoor pursuits are available, including walking, climbing, bird-watching, and boating. An inter-city rail station (links London Euston) is only a few minutes walk away and there is a National and Local bus service within 50 yards of the property. Conwy is a good location for non-drivers, with excellent public transport facilities. There is a regular bus service to Llandudno and other nearby resorts.
A leisure centre and multiplex cinema is approximately 5 mins drive away. Bodlondeb park, bowling green, playground and tennis courts (free) located within 100 yards of the cottage. Further afield, the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno (10 min drive) offers a magnificant promenade and beaches, pier, donkey rides, dry ski slope, copper mines and a historic tramway to the Great Orme. There are also two golf courses nearby: Conwy (2 miles), Llandudno (6 miles).
Other attractions include: Plas Newydd, Bodnant Gardens (15 mins), Penryhn Castle (20 mins), Plas Newrydd (25 mins). RSPB Nature Reserve approx. 1 mile. Dublin day trips from Holyhead.

This pretty former Fisherman's Cottage features a spacious lounge/diner with lovely open fire, and separate breakfast kitchen, providing the ideal place to unwind and relax at any time of the year.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double and adult bunk bedroom) and a shower room with large shower, basin and WC.
A particularly lovely feature of this holiday cottage is the enclosed roof terrace affording wonderful views of the town and Castle. There is also a shared garden to the rear of the property and BBQ and garden furniture are provided.

The cottage benefits from central heating but there is also a lovely open fire for more chilly nights; Travel cot, high-chair & stair guard are available; Laundry service available.
