Watkin Cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and provides a perfect place from which to explore the medieval town of Conwy and the many attractions of North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. It is situated within the grounds of the Castle Walls in the very heart of the popular town and within walking distance of all of its amenities.
Conwy has World Heritage Site status and is a tourists dream with its picturesque harbour overlooking the estuary, spectacular castle and great selection of interesting shops, tea rooms and eating establishments. It is surrounded by a beautiful and diverse landscape of mountains, fantastic beaches, rocky ridges and waterfalls. The medieval town is close to Snowdonia National Park and a great location for those who enjoy walking, bird watching, fishing and climbing. There are also several good golf courses in Conwy and a number of others within the local area.
There are plenty of attractions within easy reach including: the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno; Conwy Butterfly Jungle; Bodnant Gardens; Penryhn Castle and the RSPB Nature Reserve to name just a few.
Watkin Cottage is beautifully presented and is a 19th Century stone-built holiday cottage of traditional appearance. It has been equipped with a contemporary range of fixtures and fittings to provide stylish and comfortable holiday accommodation and is the perfect place to return home to after an exciting day exploring the area. The cottage is conveniently located just a two minute walk from the nearest train station, making it ideal for those who want to leave the car at home with plenty of things to see and do within walking distance.
Local amenities include: A multiplex cinema, leisure centre, fast food outlets and Tescos less than five minutes drive away.
Additional places of interest further afield include: Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis, Italiante Village Portmerion, Castle towns of Caernarfon and Beaumaris to name but a few.

Accommodation comprises:
Ground Floor
Lounge/diner with Gas fire, television, DVD, video, radio/CD and a foldaway table and four dining chairs. There is also a child dinner high chair.
Kitchen with fitted cupboards, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine and generally fully equipped.
Shower room fully tiled, attractive and modern with WC, wash basin and shower enclosure.
First Floor
Double bedroom with clock radio, hairdryer and storage cupboard.
Second bedroom with adult size bunk beds.
Outside: Enclosed courtyard area at the rear of property with patio, table and chairs and small BBQ area.
Parking: Is available outside the cottage and on street subject to availabilty and on a first come first served basis. Free parking bay around the corner from the cottage again subject to availability. Public car parks a few minutes drive away charging 50p from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. and £2 for up to 8 hours at other times.
Additional information: All fuel and power included. The property has electric storage heaters. Bed linen and towels provided. Complimentary toiletries and hospitality products included. Welcome pack provided containing useful information. Unfortunately pets cannot be accepted. Short Breaks with a minimum of three nights also available.
