A delightful little cottage located within the medieval walls of the picturesque market town of Conwy in North Wales. A World Heritage site, this is an ideal year-round base for exploring the beaches, magnificent mountains and numerous attractions of North Wales.
Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, Castle Cottage is in a great location just a few metres from the 13th Century town walls. The town's attractions such as tea rooms, restaurants, historic buildings and the harbour are all within a two minute walk of the cottage and the historic castle is only five minutes away.
Set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Conwy is perfectly located for exploring the beaches, mountains and historic buildings of the area. There are a huge range of outdoor pursuits available locally including walking, bird-watching, climbing and boating. There is also a leisure centre and multiplex cinema, just a five minute drive away.
Further afield, is the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno, just a ten minute drive away, which offers beaches, a pier, copper mines, a dry ski slope and a historic tramway to the Great Orme. Conwy golf course is only two miles away and the Llandudno course just six.
Castle Cottage is positioned within an area that offers so many attractions that the only problem you will have is deciding what to do! With an inter-city rail station with links to London Euston a few minute's walk away and a National and Local bus service, Conwy is a perfect location for those who want to leave the car at home and travel by public transport. There is a regular bus service to Llandudno and other nearby resorts and plenty to see and do on your doorstep.

Castle Cottage has recently been restored and refurbished to a high standard to ensure that guests enjoy clean, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. It has been awarded 4 Start by Visit Wales.
Accommodation comprises:
Open plan living area with laminate flooring, flat screen television, DVD player, comfy sofas with enough seating for all occupants and modern Gas fireplace. A range of board games, Play Station 1 and DVDs are provided.
Modern kitchen with slimline dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, microwave, electric oven and hob with extractor and fridge. In addition a coffee maker, panini maker, electric steamer, slow cooker and a wide range of pans and utensils have also been provided.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom as follows...
One double bedroom.
One bunk bed room with adult sized beds. The beds will have been freshly made up for your arrival with the bed linen which is provided.
Modern bathroom with a bath with shower overhead, glass shower screen and heated towel rail. A supply of bath sheets and hand towels are provided, along with a freshly laundered bath mat.
Outdoors: there is an enclosed, paved courtyard where wooden outdoor furniture and barbeque are provided. Buckets and spades are included for the children.
Additional information: Unfortunately pets cannot be taken due to family allergies. There is unrestricted parking in the road outside the cottage. There is other public parking available within the town. Prices include all bed linen, bath and hand towels. Strictly no smoking.
