Sitting in an exceptionally beautiful location, Carreg y Nant lies within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and benefits from exceptional views over the mountains which can be enjoy from the private hot tub!
One of three superb holiday cottages, Carreg y Nant is in a fantastic position overlooking the Aran mountain and beautiful village of Llanuwchllyn. The village is only one mile away and can be reached by foot along the footpath, providing a lovely walk along the river into the village where there is The Eagles Inn serving great home cooked food.
The local area is a walkers paradise with wonderful leisurely walks from the village along the public footpaths, leading through the surrounding countryside. From the village you can also take a journey on the little steam train to the market town of Bala.
Alternatively, a ten minute drive takes you to Bala which sits at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake and the largest natural lake in Wales. The town offers a wide choice of quality pubs and restaurants and is within easy driving distance of some great shopping and historical towns including Llangollen, Chester, Porthmadog and Ruthin.
Ideal as a romantic retreat or for a family holiday, Carreg y Nant is close to the beaches and mountains and provides all the right ingredients for a wonderful relaxing holiday, or to use as a base from which to explore the magic and many attractions of North Wales.

Carreg y Nant is warm, cosy and welcoming retreat that is ideal for a romantic break or family holiday. Converted to an exceptionally high standard to provide Four Star holiday accommodation for up to four guests (plus cot), Carreg y Nant has its own private hot tub. The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and comprises:
Ground floor:
Kitchen area with dishwasher, microwave and a washer/dryer.
Relaxing living area with two sets of patio doors opening out onto the private garden where the private hot-tub is located, allowing you to enjoy the views over the fields while you bubble away!
Small wash room in the hall with a WC and washbasin.
First floor:
One en-suite double bedroom.
One en-suite twin bedroom.
Each en-suite has a shower, WC and washbasin with large Velux window, making the bathrooms light and fresh.
Outside: The hot tub is situated outside on the patio area. There is a small unfenced brook running through the garden.
Additional information: Carreg y Nant is open all year round for short breaks or longer holidays - great last minute offers are often available. There is no extra charge for the use of the Hot Tub. Child friendly environment and a child minding service is available by arrangement. Wi-Fi available for £10 per stay. Under floor heating throughout. Complimentary welcome drinks and food are provided (fresh milk, coffee, teas, home baked cake and Bryn Caled special fudge bar). Fluffy white towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided. Sorry, no pets. A maid service is available Monday to Friday by arrangement. All cottages are non-smoking. Delicious full Welsh breakfast can be delivered to your cottage for £10 per person and dinner for £15 per person (menus available upon request). Homemade slow cooker meals can be arranged for £8 per person - the perfect welcome home after a long journey!
