Bwthyn Cerrig is a delightful former fisherman's cottage which has been recently refurbished and completely redecorated. It stands within the medieval town walls of Conwy, North Wales and is an ideal all year round base for hill walking or visiting the beach and harbour.
Conwy and the surrounding area offers spectacular scenery along with a multitude of interesting things to see and do. There are mountains, waterfalls, rocky ridges, miles of beautiful coastline (great for relaxing and watersports) and of course, Conwy Castle - a dark stoned fortress which is probably one of the finest examples in Europe evoking a truly authentic medieval atmosphere.
There is easy access to all the amenities that this lovely town has to offer and the cottage is only a two minute walk from the town centre with its lovely shops, tearooms, restaurants and places of interest.
Conwy is close to Snowdonia National Park which is ideal for walking, climbing and birdwatching. Trefriew Woolen Mills and Bodnant Gardens are also just a short drive away.
The Victorian seaside town of Llandudno is a ten minute drive. However, Conwy is an ideal place for non-drivers as the public transport facilites are excellent with the national and local bus stop just fifty yards away and the train station within a two minute walk.
Attractions further afield include: Betws-y-Coed; Llechwedd Slate Caverns; Sygun Copper Mines; Llanberis Lake Railway; Portmerion and castles in Beauman's and Caernarfon.
