The Coach House is a cosy, idyllic rural retreat for couples which is situated in the dramatic and wild scenery of the South Shropshire Hills. Positioned at three hundred metres, it has beautiful views to the head of the valley and is located below the Black Hill. It has recently been modernised and provides a high standard of holiday accommodation which benefits from features such as a wood burning stove, stylish interior and modern facilities.
South Shropshire is one of England's most beautiful areas which is as yet, undiscovered by tourism. Both the beautiful countryside and local towns remain largely unchanged. Walking is one of the main attractions of the area with numerous walks starting from the very door step of The Coach House.
Further afield there are Offa's Dyke, Jack Mytton Way, Shropshire Way, Long Mynd and Kerry Ridgeway. For those who enjoy cycling, there are plenty of opportunities to explore this beautiful area by bike which can be hired locally. The owners are also able to store your bikes under cover at night.
There are plenty of interesting places to see and attractions in this area including castles such as Clun Castle, Stokesay Castle, Ludlow Castle and Powis Castle. There are also many wonderful gardens to visit including Powis Castle Gardens, Hampton Court, Dingle Gardens, David Austin and Hergest Croft.
The towns of Bishop's Castle, Clun and Ludlow all have a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes and are within easy reach.

The Coach House is located across the courtyard from the main house and is approached through a private entrance in the kitchen garden.
Accommodation comprises:
Front door leads into the hall, which provides plenty of space for coats and boots as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. From here stairs lead to the first floor and the rest of the accommodation.
Comfortable and cosy sitting room with kitchen area and space for dining.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, hob, fridge and dishwasher.
The sitting room also has a wood burning stove, armchair, sofa, television, DVD and CD player - the perfect place for relaxing after an exciting day exploring the area.
Bathroom with a bath/overhead shower and a heated towel rail.
Bedroom with king-sized bed.
Outside is a small lawned area with a table and chairs, facing due west - the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the setting sun.
Additional information: Prices include all electricity, central heating, linen, towels and logs for the wood burner. Unfortunately small children and pets can not be accepted.
