Ryton Farm Holiday Cottages offers a choice of comfortable holiday accommodation to suit parties of two to four guests individually and larger groups if multiple cottages are rented together. Ideal for couples or groups of friends, the cottages provide the perfect place for a tranquil holiday in the very heart of rural Shropshire countryside, yet within easy reach of the many attractions the area has to offer.
The cottages accommodating two guests have a choice of double or twin bedded rooms and cottages accommodating four guests have a double and twin bedroom with private facilities. All cottages have open plan living/dining rooms, well-equipped kitchens and plenty of private parking. Some of the two bedroom cottages are single storey and may be ideal for visitors with limited mobility.
Located in the quiet hamlet of Ryton, the cottages are one mile from Dorrington and six miles south of Shrewsbury, the county town of Shropshire. There are outstanding views from Ryton Farm, over the South Shropshire Hills and the area is fantastic for those who enjoy walking with plenty of footpaths and byways. Walking in Shropshire offers something for everyone with short strolls, long hikes across moorland, hill walks or gentle walks along the river or canal - with such a diverse range of scenery, this beautiful county cannot fail to please.
You will have no problem finding a peaceful spot for a picnic, or alternatively sample the friendly hospitality and superb food of the welcoming inns, tea shops cafes and restaurants.
Not only is Ryton Farm ideal as a relaxing retreat or a base for exploring the area but it also has much to offer those who enjoy fishing with its own exclusive well stocked pools. The most mature pool is brimming with carp and the smaller pool has an abundance of rudd, roach, tench, perch and bream. It is never overcrowded and the owner can provide costs for fishing during your stay.

General information and facilities at Ryton Farm Cottages:
Each cottage has a modern fitted kitchen with plenty of china, cutlery and cooking utensils. Cookers are electric with ovens and grills.
All Cottages have fitted carpets throughout.
There is ample private parking.
All cottages have electric heating throughout and payment is by a coin meter.
If requested, beds can be made up ready for arrival with sheets and duvets (an additional charge will apply for bedlinen). Fresh bed linen is available at weekends for visitors planning to stay longer than one week.
Towels and tea towels are available at £1.50 per set (pay on arrival).
Each cottage has a colour television.
Some cottages accommodate an extra guest by arrangement at £25 per week (linen included).
A service wash/dry can be arranged if required.
A discount is at times offered on a last minute basis.
Well behaved pets welcome at an additional charge.
Short breaks (minimum of two nights) are available in some cottages.
Unfortunately no children under fourteen years of age.
Changeover days are Friday and Saturday.
