It also benefits from a double bedroom on the ground floor with ensuite shower room which may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Whether you are looking to simply relax and enjoy the peace of the surrounding countryside, or visit the many castles, country houses, gardens and visitor attractions, Parkhouse cottage has something for everyone. As well as an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways which provide numerous walking and mountain biking opportunities, riding, golf and fishing are all available nearby.

Melrose which is famous for its abbey and quality eating places and Selkirk are just a fifteen minute drive away and for those who want to venture further afield, Edinburgh and the East Coast are just 42 miles away - Getting around in this beautiful area is enjoyable on the quiet Border roads!
