Converted from original stone steadings, Granary Cottage provides beautifully appointed four star accommodation. Designed primarily for couples or those with small children, the cottage has one bedroom, en-suite bathroom, living room and kitchen area.
The cottage enjoys grounds and gardens of almost one acre with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. An 18 hole golf course and restaurant, a pretty glen and even a castle are within a short walk. A further mile leads to two pubs and a restaurant, all serving excellent food, in the village of Denholm.
Townhead Steading is set within the rolling Borders countryside on the edge of the tiny conservation village of Minto, close to Melrose and Jedburgh. The cottage borders the Minto Hills and the Minto Golf Club. Edinburgh is just over an hour away.
The tranquility and comfort of the cottage ensures that guests enjoy a relaxing holiday, surrounded by numerous opportunities for leisure activities, including walking, cycling, golf, fishing and sight seeing. Guests are assured of a warm welcome after their journey with tea and fresh scones.
