The cottage was very comfortable and very relaxing. The wildlife was amazing. Sitting on the patio listening to the river esk at the bottom of the garden & looking at the views was breathtaking. We will return and would highly recommend staying at Craig Brae Cottage.

I just want to start off by saying, How utterly gorgeous your cottage is! We were all so pleased when we arrived to find how beautiful the area was and the inside of the cottage just blew us away, it was a home from home with every single mod con we could ever need!
It was fantastic to wake up to that scenery every morning and to go to sleep just hearing the river and nothing else. In one word it was Bliss, I just wish we could have stayed longer.
I have done nothing but talk about how beautiful everything was and am recommending your cottage to everyone i speak to.

We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week in your lovely Home from Home in a peaceful location surrounded by stunning scenery.
We enjoyed watching the antics of the birds bickering over the feeders in the garden and the oyster catchers on their rocks in the river. This has been a great base for walking and cycling.

I read somewhere once that “the test of pleasure is the memory it leaves behind”. I’ve proved this to be the case many times since and our stay at Craig Brae is a good example of this. We stayed in Mid May and the weather, whilst not being brilliant, was better than we would have had if we had stayed at home in Oxfordshire. The house was just perfect, being comfortable, homely and with all mod cons. We had planned to do a lot of walking and cycling but the onset of gout two days before we arrived put pay to that, but I was still able to enjoy the scenery and the availability of wireless broadband enabled me to surf the web happily while Suzanne was out and about. We had seen another testimonial which said that the picture on the site do not do the house justice and we would agree with this, the house was just ideal for us and the dog in every way. We have stayed in cottages elsewhere in the country and although, with one possible exception, we have always had a great time, I’d say that yours was the best place we have stayed in for the full balance of, scenery, comfort, facilities, location etc.
