Penyglog Farm Cottages provide a warm welcome and three charming holiday cottages that are bursting with character, located near to Machynlleth in Powys, Mid-Wales.
These well-appointed holiday cottages are ideally positioned in three individual locations on the owners organic farm, thus providing guests with a good degree of privacy. Set amongst beautiful rolling Mid-Wales countryside, each cottage affords lovely views over the surrounding farmland, providing guest's with the opportunity to savour some amazing views over the Dyfi Valley countryside.
Here you can enjoy a vast array of wildlife from the luxury of your own garden. You may see Red Kite soaring up above, birds nesting and you can take some wonderful walks right from the cottage front door!
Secluded yet easily accessible, the cottages are within easy reach of the golden sandy beaches of Aberdyfi and the spectacular sights of the Snowdonia mountains. They are also well located for visiting the many local and varied attractions including the Centre for Alternative Technology, Talyllyn Railway, Historical Castles and the RSPB Nature Reserve at Ynys-hir to name just a few.

Llwyn-y-Gronfa is a wonderfully warm, cosy and comfortable farmhouse which has been thoughtfully renovated to retain much of its lovely original character including stripped pine doors, oak beams and slate floors.
The farmhouse is set in a beautiful rural location and affords wonderful views over the surrounding farmland where you can see lots of wildlife from your window and the private garden with patio and garden furniture.
Near to the lovely sandy beaches and sea at Aberdyfi and the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia, Llwyn-y-Gronfa provides the ideal place for enjoying the attractions that the area has to offer. Nearby there are plenty of walks, cycling routes and a wide variety of places to visit. It is also near to the RSPB reserve at Ynyslas and you can often see the Red Kite soaring high above.
Accommodation comprises:
Large, comfortable, light and airy lounge with lovely views over the surrounding farmland. It has a woodburner and colour television along with a DVD player.
Dining room/lounge with old oak beams which also has beautiful views. This has a woodburner and colour television.
Modern oak fitted kitchen with an electric inbuilt oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave.
Utility with washing machine and drier - this area can also be used as a lockable storage for cycles.
Upstairs there are four large bedrooms and a family bathroom. Two bedrooms have double beds and two have singles - all with lovely soft duvets and Welsh wool blankets.
Additional information: Both the dining room/lounge and kitchen have the original slate floors while the lounge is carpeted. Llwyn-y-Gronfa has central heating installed. All linen, towels, electricity and gas for the heating are included in the price. Short breaks available with flexible start days. Unfortunately pets can not be accepted.
