Eunant is a large, handsome, Victorian stone farmhouse that is located in a picturesque setting with its own spacious private grounds and garden. It can accommodate parties of up to fifteen guests and provides the perfect place for friends and families to holiday together or celebrate a special occasion.
This wonderful location is nationally renown as a nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is a walker's paradise offering easy access to Snowdonia, Cheshire, the Berwyns and Shropshire and perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities with local biking, lake sailing, fishing and kayaking. This is perfect ornithology country, between the deciduous woodland planted by the RSPB, the open hills and the mature Victorian lakeside landscaping including the tallest trees in Wales!
Eunant offers a fantastic secluded haven, which is only four miles to the nearest pub serving food and the fine restaurant at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel. Just beyond is the village shop where you can stock up on provisions.
You can not help but fall in love with the stunning scenery - the lively Eunant stream flows past the grounds, with pretty rockpools and waterfalls, tumbling down from the heathery slopes of the Berwyns. All around are broadleaf environmental reforestation and beech woods, with open hills just beyond, offering fantastic local walks. You can enjoy a walk around the lake - a full circuit is a great days walk with a pub lunch perfectly located half way at the hotel by the dam. Alternatively it is an easy hour and a half by bike or you can hire a kayak or sailing dingy to get on the water itself.
For those who enjoy fishing, day tickets are available for lake fishing for salmon and trout, including boat hire. For mountain bikers there are great forest trails all around the locality.
Eunant is a ideally base for not only relaxing or enjoying outdoor pursuits but it is also perfectly located for exploring North Wales along with its many delights.

The conservatory also leads to the family bedroom: a double-height space with its own woodburner, 5ft double bed below and easy ladder access to the bedloft above with twin beds.

One bunk bedroom and one single bedroom - these bedrooms have two bathrooms (with WCs): one with bath (and lake views!), the other a large 'wet room' with natural power shower.
Separate staircase leading to another twin bedroom and another bathroom (with bath/shower and WC) shared with the family room.
Additional information: Initial basket of logs is free - all extra logs and coal available at cost. Oil fired heating as appropriate to the time of year/hot water and power included. All duvets, freshly laundered bed linen, towels and tea towels provided. Ample on-site parking. Beautifully planted enclosed garden with patio, furniture and barbeque. Short break bookings outside of peak periods are welcome, or subject to late availability. Pets: This is a sheep farming area on the edge of the open Berwyn hills, so dogs are welcome providing they are well-trained and well-behaved (maximum of three per group, charged at £20 per dog). Owners must be responsible for them at all times, and make sure they don't foul the grounds.

3rd comment: we loved the location of the property, the stunning views and proximity to great walks and countryside. the house was well equipped for our group (three families, 6 adults 6 children under 12). we liked that the property was quite isolated and was really cosy for an autumn break with friends. one particular bonus of the property was the great vinyl collection, it was great playing old records again. the kitchen is also a plus factor, a great social gathering point, with a large catering size cooker and big american style fridge, spot on for a house for 12+. oct 2010.
