Dwr Y Felin Log Cabins provide the perfect place where groups of friends and families can escape the pressures of everyday life and enjoy the wonders of the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Located in Powys, mid Wales, are these three eco friendly log cabins that provide the highest standard of holiday accommodation for parties of up to six guests in each. These traditional Scandanavian hand crafted double storey log holiday homes provide everything that is needed for a memorable and enjoyable holiday.
When you arrive you will receive a warm Welsh Welcome from the owners who are available to ensure you have everything needed to make your stay pleasurable and comfortable.
During your holiday you can unwind on the balcony or veranda while enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Pamper yourself in the hot tub or steam sauna, or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the beautiful woodland whilst checking out the birds, dragonflies and flowers.
Only a five minute walk from your Cabin takes you into the center of Carno where you will find the local Spar shop selling groceries/newspapers along with locally sourced food. There is also the local tavern that serves freshly prepared meals on a daily basis both at lunch and during the evening.
You may never want to leave the comfort of your cabin but if you do, there are plenty of things to see and do in Mid Wales including: mountain biking; fishing; walking; golfing; quad biking; sailing or shooting - all on your door step. Alternatively you may prefer to explore the sleepy market towns, climb one of the highest mountains in Wales or splash in the sea - all just a short drive away.

There are three cabins available - Ty Afal (Apple House), Ty Peren (Pear House) and Ty Ceirios (Cherry House).
All log cabins can accommodate up to six guests comfortably and provide the following facilities:
Open plan kitchen/dining area/lounge with LCD flat screen television and DVD player.
One king size master en-suite bedroom upstairs.
One double en-suite bedroom downstairs.
One twin bedroom downstairs.
Steam sauna shower.
Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher plus washing machine.
Upstairs mezzanine with sofa bed/lounge area.
Outside: There is an upstairs verandah seating area with woodland views, along with a Hot Tub, barbecue and patio area with seating. There is also ample parking for two vehicles.
Additional information: 300 Year old Spring water on tap. Electricity and underfloor heating provided. Linen and towels included (except hot tub towels). Cots and highchairs available (upon request at time of booking). Sorry - No Pets Allowed.

What a wonderful Cabin. We have had a wonderful time in this Cabin and we are honoured to be the first guests in Ty Peren. During our stay we have enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed in the Aleppo pub, fed the horses and taken a walk up to the top of the hill to overlook Carno. We enjoyed a day in Newtown and also looked around Glansevern Hall and Gardens. Overall we have enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Couldn't have spent our 1st year wedding anniversary in a more perfect place. Such a beautiful Log Cabin, with wonderful finishing touches. Leaving with some amazing memories - especially the gruelling hike up Snowdon mountain. We will be back !
Perfection! Our advice would be to stock with food and drink - there is no need to go anywhere. Brilliant location and a very chilled environment, the Cabin provides everything you could wish for. Be warned, you will spend far too many hours in the hot tub. Never had such a relaxing break ever!

Having not experienced a Log Cabin before, we were completely amazed and impressed by not only the high standard of the accommodation and the idyllic location, but also the personal attention to detail which made us feel very welcome indeed (please don't lose this as it is a very rare commodity). We couldn't wait to wake up each morning as the children loved feeding the horses and making friends with all your dogs.
Thank you for a lovely week end in the most relaxing and perfect location for our first family holiday. We have had a lovely time and really do not want to go home. We will be sure to return next year after the baby is born. Thank you again.
