Lassintullich Lodge is a charming traditional Scottish country house with a self-contained cottage wing (Keepers Cottage) and two further holiday cottages (The Stables and Kennel Cottage) within the grounds.
The area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and wildlife with many species of rare birds, red squirrels and pine martens to name just a few. This is the perfect location for exploring castles, remote glens, gardens and the many delights that Perthshire has to offer. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of activities to enjoy including: hill walking; pony trekking; cycling; photography; painting; golf; fishing; bird watching and much more.
Kinloch Rannoch village is two and a half miles away and offers a selection of places to eat, a grocer/general store, Post office, hairdressers and two hotels. Here you can also hire mountain bikes, fishing tackle/lines and boat hire is also available.
For those who want to venture a little further afield, the small town of Aberfeldy is just fifteen miles way. You will find a warm welcome along with shopping facilities and a selection of places to eat. You can also delve into the intriguing history of this interesting town at Castle Menzies and Loch Tay's unique Scottish Crannog Centre or enjoy the taste of malt whisky at its local distillery.
A little further afield is Pitlochry (approximately twenty two miles) which is set in the very heart of Scotland and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Not only is its scenery spectacular but so is its hospitality and fine food, making it very popular with tourists.
Another wonderful sight is Rannoch Moor (twenty miles away) which is crossed by one single road and a railway track. Rannoch Moor is a magical plateau at a height of one thousand feet and its glorious views of the heather, lochs and mountains as a backdrop are a magical sight.

Each holiday cottage is furnished to the very high standard you would expect from four star holiday accommodation and includes: Sky satellite flat screen LCD television, VCR/DVD/CD player, microwave, built in cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, electric blankets and hairdryers. There is also a communal laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and payphone.
The accommodation consists of:
Keepers Cottage - sleeps three and is a charming, sympathetically restored cottage wing of Lassintullich Lodge. It is believed to date from the 1840's and still retains many original features. It has its own private garden area with views across Dunalastair Water to the mountains beyond:
Ground floor: Entrance hall, sitting room with wood-burner, kitchen/dining area, bathroom (5' bath with hand-held shower), basin and WC.
First floor: Two bedrooms - one with king size bed and the other with a single bed.
Kennel Cottage - sleeps two and is a two storey holiday cottage that is attached to The Stables offering:
Ground Floor: Entrance hall, kitchen/diner, bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and WC).
First Floor: Bedroom with king size bed, cloakroom/WC and sitting room with wood burner.
The Stables - sleeps two and is a ground floor cottage apartment attached to Kennel Cottage offering:
Entrance hall, bathroom (bath with power shower over, basin and WC), double bedroom, living room with kitchen area.
Additional information: All electricity, heating, linen and towels are included within the tariff. Short breaks may be available - please enquire with the owner. Changeover day normally Saturday but flexible changeover day may be possible at certain times of the year. There are wood burners in Kennel and Keepers cottages and a welcome basket of logs is provided. Each cottage has a private garden area with picnic bench and a car parking space for one car. Delivery of groceries can be arranged from the local store or farm shop.
