Converted from 18th century farm buildings, the Haybarn offers superb holiday accommodation ideal for families. Relax and unwind in a wonderful, peaceful setting.
The cottage is surrounded by some of the most spectacular countryside in the Peak District National Park. You can explore lush, tranquil dales and wild romantic highlands on foot, horse back or by car.
The Manifold Trail which runs below Swainsley Farm (with easy access for pushchairs or wheelchair users) offers just over nine miles of excellent cycling. Fishing, water sports, pony trekking and cycle hire are all available locally.
The less adventurous may just want to walk along the banks of the Manifold River, stroll through fields, or visit some of our pretty villages with their lovely old churches and ancient inns. There are village shops close-by and some wonderful places to eat.
For those looking for excitement, Alton Towers is within fifteen miles as is Matlock Bath and Chatsworth. There are many National Trust properties, gardens, country houses and family attractions in the area just waiting to be explored.

All rooms have been carefully furnished and decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave. Look out of the French windows and marvel at the stunning views!
A door leads to a separate lounge; a lovely, comfortable room with magnificent views and equipped with TV, DVD and CD player. A flight of open tread stairs leads to a landing overlooking the courtyard.
The landing provides access to a spectacular double bedroom with vaulted ceiling and exposed roof trusses. The cottage has a new delux bathroom with over bath shower, hand basin, toilet and towel rail.
A separate second bedroom has two single beds (which can be made into a king -size double by arrangement) and also a folding single bed for an extra person.
