Jolly Field Farm Holiday Cottage nestles at the end of a quiet lane in the Derbyshire village of Chelmorton. It accommodates parties of up to ten guests (plus one) in five bedrooms and is positioned in it’s own secure grounds with lawned garden areas and an enclosed paddock. The cottage enjoys wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and especially of Chelmorton Low. Here you can spend quality time with friends and family and have cosy nights in by the fire, or afternoons and evenings sat on the large patio, admiring the views as the sun sets with a glass of wine!
Jolly Field Farm is a perfect base for walking, biking and climbing and is just a short drive from the historic towns Bakewell and Buxton. It is particularly well suited to larger parties having a luxury family kitchen, large games room with pool table, bar and plenty of space for the children to let off steam in the large garden with swing and paddock.
Located in the High Peak - the small country village of Chelmorton sits 1200ft above sea level and is not surprisingly one of the highest villages in Derbyshire. Just four miles south-east of Buxton, it is perfectly located for exploring the stunning surrounding countryside and attractions of the Peak District. The village has a great pub which is conveniently located just a few minutes stroll from the cottage (The Church Inn) where you can sample traditional ales and food. There is also a small playground, phone box and a bottle bank.
Located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Jolly Field Farm Holiday Cottage provides the ideal base for a family get together, a reunion of friends or for celebrating a special occasion amongst a peaceful setting.

Accommodation comprises:
Kitchen - a huge family kitchen which is well equipped with fridge, dishwasher, freezer, Aga-style range cooker, electric oven and hob and microwave. The wooden floors and hand made units add to the character of the room and there is seating for ten around the extendable farmhouse table.
Games room - the cellar has been converted into a large games room with pool table, bar and darts board - a great space for kids of all ages to play.
Lounge - here you can relax in comfort. There are two large three seater settees, leather armchair, television with DVD and a welcoming log-burning stove inset in an inglenook fireplace. There also is a selection of books, DVDs and games for your enjoyment.
Master Bedroom - A very large room with King size bed and en-suite shower room with large shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. This room has wooden floors and a beautiful view of Chelmorton Low.
Ground floor bathroom with bath, WC and hand basin.
Two further ground floor double bedrooms with sloping ceilings. Both have plenty of storage space.
Small staircase leads up to the Attic Bedroom with two single beds – children will love the sloping ceilings in this cosy room.
Annex Bedroom - Cross the patio just three steps into this very spacious room with vaulted beamed ceiling and en-suite shower room. The room has a king size bed and lots of storage space. There is also a futon bed if required.
Outside: The gardens are spacious and secure with wonderful views of the village and surrounding countryside. There is plenty of room for children to run around safely as the gates to the road can be closed. The patio area at the rear of the property is the perfect place to soak up the sun and enjoy a glass of wine or read a good book. There is also a barbecue and fire pit to enhance alfresco dining.
