Dalescroft Apartment is a spacious two bedroom first floor holiday apartment situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Hartington in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales within the Peak District.
Quietly positioned above an antique shop, the apartment is the perfect retreat to escape to the wonderful rolling countryside of the Derbyshire Dales, whilst having the amenities of this popular village on your doorstep.
Hartington is a beautiful village, set around the village green with its duck pond. It is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Derbyshire Dales and has many facilities including shops, cafes and two pubs (both serving home cooked food), all of which are situated a minute from the door. There are also many other pubs serving food within a short drive.
There are lots of superb walking opportunities available from the doorstep. The famous Dove Dale is only a short drive away.
For cyclists, the High Peak, Tissington and Manifold Trails are all within easy reach.
In addition to walking and cycling, there are many other leading tourist attractions close by including Alton Towers, Carsington Water and The Heights Of Abraham. The country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are also nearby.
Hartington is fortunate to lie almost equal distance from the market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock and the spa town of Buxton. All of these are great place to visit offering a variety of interesting shops and leisure facilities.

Spacious lounge/dining room with beamed ceiling. The lounge is equipped with leather sofas, large dining table, flat screened television, DVD Player and CD Player/Radio.
Well equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave and oven with separate grill and ceramic hob.
Double bedroom with en-suite, with bath, sink and WC.
Second bedroom with sink and en-suite with shower and WC. This room has zip-link beds, which can be made up into a 5’ king-size bed or two 2’6” beds.
Additional Information: Free parking is available in the centre of Hartington. The apartment has electric heating. Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are included within the price. Please note that there are stairs up to the apartment and a step from the lounge to the other rooms, which make the property unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties. Please note that the stairs lead directly off from the lounge so the property is unsuitable for toddlers/small children.
