Dalescroft Apartment is a spacious two bedroom first floor apartment situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Hartington in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales in the Peak District. Quietly positioned above an antique shop, the apartment has character and charm with a beamed ceiling in the lounge and quirky shaped rooms. It is equipped to a high standard and is the perfect retreat to escape to the wonderful rolling countryside of the Derbyshire Dales, whilst having the amenities of this popular village on your doorstep.
Hartington is a beautiful village, set around the village green with its duck pond. It is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Derbyshire Dales. There are two pubs both serving home-cooked food. Hartington also has two general stores, a tea shop, several gift shops and a pottery. These are all situated a few minutes from the door. There are also many other pubs serving food within a short drive.
For those who enjoy walking, there are many superb walking opportunities leading directly from the doorstep with many other scenic walks starting just a short drive away. Famous dales and natural beauty spots including Dovedale, Lathkill Dale and the Manifold Valley (including Thors Cave) are also only a few miles away.
For cyclists, the High Peak, Tissington and Manifold Trails are all within easy reach.
In addition to walking and cycling, there are many other leading tourist attractions closed by including Carsington Water, The Heights of Abraham, a Tram museum and Steam Railways. The historic market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne and the historic spa town of Buxton are each a short drive away offering a variety of shops and leisure facilities. The country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are also nearby. For the more adventurous, Alton Towers is less than an hours drive.

Dalescroft Apartment offers the following accommodation:
Spacious lounge/dining room with beamed ceiling. The lounge is equipped with leather sofas, large dining table, flat screened television, DVD Player and CD Player/Radio.
Well equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven with separate grill and ceramic hob.
Double bedroom with king size bed, sink and en-suite with shower and WC.
Second double bedroom with en-suite with bath, sink and WC. This room has zip-link beds, which can be made up into a 5’ king size bed or two 2’6” beds.
Additional Information: Free parking is available in the centre of Hartington. The apartment has electric heating. Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are included within the price. Please note that there are stairs up to the apartment and a step from the lounge to the other rooms, which make the property unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties. Please note that the stairs lead directly off from the lounge so the property is unsuitable for toddlers/small children.
