Tinkerley Barns set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, surrounded by grassland, is home to three self-catering holiday units. They sleep six, four plus two and four guests and can be booked separately for the smaller parties or as a whole for larger groups of up to sixteen guests. This peaceful place tucked into the hillside with delightful views out over the Ecclesbourne Valley provides the perfect location for a relaxing holiday.
Tinkerley Barns is an ideal base for exploring the Peak Districts many attractions. Alton Towers is within easy reach as are many other popular attractions including Calke Abbey, Kedleston Hall, Blackbrook Zoological Park, Matlock Bath Aquarium, Chatsworth House, Gullivers Theme Park, Crich Tramway Museum, The High Peak and Tissington Trails, Haddon Hall and Sudbury Hall. Also the Market Towns of Ashbourne and Wirksworth (which featured in the Television series Peak Practice)
Carsington Reservoir is also close by and offers sailing, windsurfing, fishing and a wide variety of wildlife. Walking, cycling and horse riding routes can be found round its 12 mile circumference.
In the village of Kirk Ireton you can explore the maze of footpaths which start and finish in the village. Time it right from your walk and you could call for a drink at the Barley Mow pub, dating back to 1683, before stocking up on provisions at the small village shop next door.

Additional information: Duvets, linen and towels provided. Oil fired central heating and power charged at £15 per booking per week (or £12 per short break). Initial supply of logs provided. Cot and highchair available. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control around the grounds (there is an additional charge of £12 per pet per booking).
Outside: The gardens have been recently landscaped and contain a large duck pond. The barns are a real summer sun trap. Garden furniture and barbecue are provided. There are external sensor lights.
