Bakewell Holiday Cottages offer two adjoining newly refurbished stone holiday houses that are ideally positioned just a ten minute walk from the centre of Bakewell. This lively and thriving market town sits in the heart of the Peak District National Park and is an ideal base for a whole host of activities including walking, cycling, visiting nearby stately homes (such as Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House), or simply relaxing in a wonderful peaceful setting. Its location between Manchester, Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham makes Bakewell readily accessible.
Each holiday home accommodates five guests and they are both suitable for families or friends at any time of the year (Ribblesdale featured in this advert can accommodate two additional guests on a sofa bed by arrangement).
The holiday homes are centrally-heated, well-equipped and furnished to a high standard and both houses have off-road parking for two cars, well laid-out gardens with patio areas and secure bike storage.
Bakewell is steeped in history and has lots of character. It offers a good range of pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, gardens and parks, along with a large outdoor market (one of the oldest in the area!) every Monday. Bakewell hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, including the Bakewell Show, the Bakewell Carnival, the Bakewell Acoustic Music Festival and the Bakewell Arts Festival.
With excellent amenities within walking distance and plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy, this is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in the Peak District National Park.

Ribblesdale is a mid-terrace holiday home offering spacious accommodation as follows:
Ground Floor
Entrance hall.
Lounge.
Dining room with French windows that open out onto the patio. There is a sofa bed in this room that can sleep an additional two guests by arrangement.
Fully fitted kitchen with integrated fridge, gas hob, electric oven and microwave.
Utility room with washbasin, WC, freezer and washer/dryer.
First Floor
Twin bedded room with large, built-in fitted wardrobe.
Double bedroom with double bed and large, built-in fitted wardrobe.
Single bedroom with chest of drawers.
Fully tiled bathroom, including a bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.
Outside: There is a lawned front garden and to the rear there is vehicular access with off-road parking for two cars, patio and storage shed suitable for bicycles and outdoor equipment.
Additional information: The changeover day is normally Saturday although other start days may be possible - please contact the owners to discuss. Short breaks may be available throughout the year (three night weekend breaks, or four night mid-week breaks at approximately seventy percent of the weekly rate). A cot and high chair are available upon request. A welcome pack of basic necessities is provided for guests' arrival. Please note that the cottage is no-smoking and regrettably cannot accept pets. An electric mobility scooter can be provided for those with limited mobility, however, please note that the holiday homes are not suitable for people with disabilities.

Lovely, bright, well presented cottage. Briliant location for walking into town; even with a baby, pram and 3-year old! Children enjoyed the spacious back lounge and yard. Thanks for a lovely stay, a really enjoyable holiday. Really accommodating for a family with a toddler and baby.
