Tithe Hill farm is home to two holiday cottages situated in North Northumberland, right on the England/Scotland border, three miles from the small village of Cornhill-on-Tweed.
Tithe Hill Farm is a family run arable farm set in a peaceful and rural setting between the River Tweed and the Cheviot Hills. The site of the last great battle between the Scots and the English at Flodden Field in 1513 is nearby and within easy walking distance.
There are numerous activities in the locality, including horseriding in Ford Village which is a five to ten minute drive.
The Scottish Borders can boast a whole range and variation in golf courses. The Roxburghe championship course (fifteen to twenty mins away). The nearest course is in Coldstream (The Hirsel) is just a seven minute drive. There are a further twenty two participating golf courses in the "Freedom of the Fairways" package.
There are plenty of places of outstanding natural beauty nearby where you could do some walking, the Cheviot Hills, Southern Upland Way or St. Cuthberts Way (a famous walk, part of which is from Lindisfarne to Yetholm). Fishing is another option, with the River Tweed only a three minute drive away and there are several lochs for trout fishing nearby. There are also several cycling routes in the area and you will find the roads very quiet for cycling and driving.
The farm is nearby to many historical houses, castles and gardens. The coastline is also an ideal area for birdwatching or spotting seals around.
