Rosedale Holiday Cottages are located within the North Yorkshire Moors National park in a relaxing and tranquil position. They make an idea base from which to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Heritage Coast, the Moors, pretty little villages and the towns at any time of the year.
Set within one and a half acres of grounds, there are two luxurious holiday cottages which were formerly the Old Stable block, outbuildings and servant quarters. Today providing holiday accommodation that is full of original features. There is also a larger holiday home within the grounds that can sleep parties of nine (+three) guests. All three properties can be rented separately or together accommodating parties of up to seventeen in total.
The properties are ideally situated in Port Mulgrave between Runswick Bay and Staithes, both being approximately one mile away.
Staithes is a picturesque seaside village which is popular with artists and tourists. It offers a good choice of restaurants, pubs and cafe's along with antique and craft shops. Its little cobbled streets meander their way down to the sandy beach and rock pools, providing the perfect place for children to play and adults to relax.
Runswick Bay is also just a stones throw away and a picture-postcard seaside village that has attracted visitors for many years. Little cottages appear to tumble down the steep cliffside to the seafront below where a lovely beach can be found.
Situated within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park this is an excellent base for anyone who enjoys walking with both spectacular cliff-top footpaths and dramatic rugged moorland walks. The Cleveland Way Coastal Footpath is a few minutes away and a network of inland footpaths can be taken from the front door.
For those who want to venture a little further afield, Whitby, Sandsend, Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough are all within easy reach.

The Coachman's Rest: External steps lead into this open plan apartment which provides a perfect retreat for a romantic break with it's gothic four poster bed and coal/wood burning stove.
Accommodation comprises:
Sitting room with comfortable leather sofa, dining table/two chairs and log burning stove - perfect for curling up in front of after an exciting day exploring the Moors!
Bedroom with gothic four poster bed.
Bathroom with shower over an extra long bath.
Kitchen with fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, Gas cooker, kettle and toaster.
Additional information: The cottage has a Freeview flat screen television with DVD player and IPod docking system, CD/Radio, shaver point, iron and table top ironing board. There is gas central heating and hot water (no extra charge) and bed linen and fuel for the stove is included. Private car parking is available in the Courtyard. There is a separate Coach House which serves as a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer (small charge) and utility sink for guests of both cottages to use. There is a communal garden area with garden furniture and BBQ's provided. Children and pets are welcome. There is a strict no-smoking policy in any of the buildings. Short breaks (3 or 4 nights) are bookable in low season, subject to availability. Short breaks in mid season are available 3-4 weeks prior to booking subject to availability. In high season bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
