Rosedale Holiday Cottages are located within the North Yorkshire Moors National park in a relaxing and tranquil position. They make an idea base from which to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Heritage Coast, the Moors, pretty little villages and the towns at any time of the year.
Set within one and a half acres of grounds, there are two luxurious holiday cottages which were formerly the Old Stable block, outbuildings and servant quarters. Today providing holiday accommodation that is full of original features. There is also a larger holiday home within the grounds that can sleep parties of nine (+three) guests. All three properties can be rented separately or together accommodating parties of up to seventeen in total.
The properties are ideally situated in Port Mulgrave between Runswick Bay and Staithes, both being approximately one mile away.
Staithes is a picturesque seaside village which is popular with artists and tourists. It offers a good choice of restaurants, pubs and cafe's along with antique and craft shops. Its little cobbled streets meander their way down to the sandy beach and rock pools, providing the perfect place for children to play and adults to relax.
Runswick Bay is also just a stones throw away and a picture-postcard seaside village that has attracted visitors for many years. Little cottages appear to tumble down the steep cliffside to the seafront below where a lovely beach can be found.
Situated within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park this is an excellent base for anyone who enjoys walking with both spectacular cliff-top footpaths and dramatic rugged moorland walks. The Cleveland Way Coastal Footpath is a few minutes away and a network of inland footpaths can be taken from the front door.
For those who want to venture a little further afield, Whitby, Sandsend, Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough are all within easy reach.

Large porch leading to a spacious hallway.
First sitting room with Free-view television, recordable DVD player and coal/wood burning stove.
Second sitting room/games room with snooker table, table and chairs, television with PS2. CD and radio player.
Kitchen/Dining Room with double electric oven with grill, eight gas hob burner, full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine and microwave. Double patio doors lead out onto a raised decking area with patio table and chairs in a walled secure garden with sea views.
Bedroom one with king size bed and en-suite shower room.
Bedroom two with wrought iron double bed.
Family bathroom with shower over bath.
Utility area with combined washing machine/tumble dryer.
Upstairs
Bedroom three with double bed.
Bedroom four with bunk beds (top bunk unsuitable for under 6's) and single bed.
Double sofa bed and additional guest bed available at an additional charge.
Additional information: Full central heating and hot water at no extra charge. "Starter" fuel for the coal/wood burning stove is provided. There is ample parking at the front of the property. Palmers is set in 1/2 an acre. There is a secure garden to the side of the property - BBQ, garden chairs and sun loungers provided. Bed linen is provided. Stair gate, fireguard, travel cot and high chair can be provided if required. Children and pets welcome. No smoking inside the property.
