Keepers Cottage sleeps up to four guests and is a comfortable Four Star holiday cottage located in the farming village of Gillamoor - a peaceful unspoilt part of the North York Moors National Park.

The cottage has a private outdoor seating area where guests can soak up the peace and tranquility, and sits in spacious grounds with two paddocks and an orchard. There are wide views across the paddock where you will see the Howardian Hills in the distance and the cottage is a good choice for those who prefer to not be located in a holiday cottage complex.

Positioned in the heart of the village, overlooking the village green, the cottage is just fifty yards from the 'Royal Oak' which is a quiet country pub and restaurant serving food. There is off-road parking for two cars right outside the cottage and the owners are always happy to help and live next door. Formerly the stable and barn, Keepers Cottage retains many lovely original features and provides single level holiday accommodation. The lounge has a lovely aspect overlooking a paddock where sheep graze, along with lambs in the spring.

The surrounding area offers some fantastic walks including paths leading over the Moors. For golfers there is an eighteen hole course at nearby Kirkbymoorside - a small market town offering good amenities. There are also plenty of places of interest within easy driving distance including: the City of York; the coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay and Saltburn; North Yorkshire Moors Railway; the stately and country homes of Duncombe Park, Scampston Hall and Castle Howard; Pickering Castle; Flamingoland Theme Park and the Ryedale Folk Museum in the pretty nearby village of Hutton le Hole.
