Conveniently located with easy access, Manor Lodge and Surlingham Manor are just five miles from the Beautiful City of Norwich and seven miles from Norwich Airport. Cambridge and London are also easily accessible and the stunning beaches at Winterton and Southwold are too within easy reach.
The village of Surlingham itself is home to Surlingham Broad and three wildlife reserves. For those looking for some adventure, why not take advantage of the excellent horse riding and walking offered locally or explore the beautiful Broads in your very own narrow boat. Alternatively, enjoy cosmopolitan shopping at Chapelfield Shopping Centre in Norwich or wander through the Norwich Lanes, packed with restaurants, independent boutiques and delicatesants.

Manor Lodge has been sympathetically converted to make the most of distinctive and original features and whilst it may date to the 16 century its rooms are very much 21st century. It can accommodate parties of up to eight and there is the option of also renting Surlingham Manor that can accommodate an additional fourteen guests - providing both an ideal holiday home for friends/family and a venue for larger events.
Inside Manor Lodge you will find two double bedrooms (one with stylish modern en-suite bathroom), and two twin bedrooms providing accommodation for up to eight guests.
There are intimate living areas, with seating/dining for eight and fireplaces (perfect for relaxing in front of after an exciting day exploring the area!) and a modern, well equipped kitchen with washing machine.
The gardens are extensive and include woodland, lakes and lawned grass area with BBQ, private fishing lake/river, ample parking along with stables and paddocks, all with wheelchair access.
Additional information: Children are most welcome with facilities provided including cots, videos and games. There is central heating and air conditioning, making it perfect all year round. Linen and towels provided. Highchair available.
